Level 2 Home Condition Survey
Ideal for modern properties in reasonable condition. Includes a detailed visual inspection and advice on urgent issues, repairs and maintenance.
Level 3 Building Survey
Best for older, unusual, run-down properties or if your planning significant work. Includes an in depth inspection, advice on defects, structural risks and potential costs.
New Build ‘Snagging’ Survey
A thorough inspection of a newly constructed property to identify any defects or unfinished work, often referred to as ‘snags’, which can then be passed onto the developer.
Home Insight Survey
This is a new Survey product instructed by the seller, which provides reliable, key property information that can be relied upon by the seller, buyers, estate agents and conveyancers.

For surveys I generally stay within 2 areas:
– London and surrounding areas to the south west (if unsure reach out and ask)
– Buxton and surrounding areas of approx 1hr (again if unsure reach out and ask)

Costs vary depending on the type of survey and property. I provide a detailed quote based on your needs and requirements.
Can you help with renovation projects?
Absolutely! This is part of my standard service. Based upon my background and experience this is an aspect that I feel adds real value to my service and your specific needs can be discussed prior to the inspection. I also offer a seperate consultancy service that may be more suited either in addition to a survey or on its own. Please see the consultancy page.
What is RPSA?
RPSA stands for Residential Property Surveyors Association and is the largest professional association representing independent specialist residential surveyors, who are committed to working to the highest standards. By choosing a surveyor who is a memeber of the RPSA you are selecting a surveyor who is dedicated to delivering the highest standards of professionalism and quality.
Can I use the report to negotiate price?
Absolutely. If the survey highlights issues that affect the property’s value – such as costly repairs or unexpected problems its perfectly reasonable to adjust your offer based on the findings.
